Hi BlueRanger,

The issue you’re seeing usually happens when a system expects a full date (MM/DD/YYYY) but only receives a month and year, so it fills in missing values incorrectly. Using a fixed day like 01 (e.g. 01/01/2008) is a common workaround and keeps dates consistent, as the support team mentioned.

If you ever want to double-check dates or convert month/year entries into valid full dates before saving them, a simple tool like calculatedatetime.com
can help. It lets you work with proper date formats and avoids those strange date  results.

Hope that helps

Dear BlueRanger,

Thank you for your suggestion.
Unfortunately our system expects a real date and not just a month and year (it shows format for the date as mm/dd/yyyy), so that's why you see strange dates. Please update your fill-up records and use 1st as a day for all fill-ups, so that date is in correct format - mm/01/yyyy. This way our system will correctly recognize your fill-up date and will store and display it correctly.
Date format is just a simple rule that our users follow to have fill-up date stored correctly.

Thanks and have a great week!

I am entering history where I don't have date, just the fillup data. I am entering just the month and full year.  When I pull up the history I am getting seriously strange dates instead of the ones I entered.  I am buying gas in 2015 instead of 2008 as I entered.  Please fix your data entry fields for this.
