Re: ANDROID APP

Dear jgiarrus,

You are absolutely correct, an app would make it easier to access site features from android phone vs. browser.
We will research our options and see if we can create an app. Unfortunately I cannot provide any ETA at this time.

Thanks for your suggestion and have a great day.

Re: ANDROID APP

Any updates on the creation of a Android app?  Love the site but would appreciate being able to pop the information into my phone after fueling and not worry about losing the receipt.

Thanks

Re: ANDROID APP

Dear scottmp3,

We are looking for a provider that can develop Android app for us. At this time we have not found one yet. We will update everybody as soon as decision on provider has been made.

Thanks and have a great day!

Re: ANDROID APP

To be honest, this site is really not active enough for them to justify the development cost, I'd guess.  App development is not free, and they don't (as far as I can see) charge any money for use of the site.  I doubt they're making much on advertising.  How exactly would you recommend they pay for development?  Out of their pockets?  I'm not disagreeing, by the way, I'd love to see an app (in my case, I'd want an iOS app, not an Android app) but I just don't see it happening.  Look at how infrequently people post on the forums.

Re: ANDROID APP

lymang got the nail right on the head. Unfortunately we don't have mobile app developer on stuff, and cost of designing, developing, certifying and listing of the mobile app is too high and hard to justify for the free service site that we provide. Our plan is to release a new version of mobile site done in HTML5, so it will provide better functionality vs current mobile site while keeping our expenses in check. We don't have release date yet, but should have something within a few months.

Re: ANDROID APP

Love the site guys

I got it working on my Android in Chrome... you can add the web page as a shortcut on the home screen to make it a bit easier
